A couple on vacation expected adventures and relaxing days. They surely couldn’t have anticipated this! While on their travels, they came upon a bush and heard cries from within. The couple tried to investigate, but the bush was a tangled mess of vines and thorns. They managed to get a look inside, and there, trapped in the branches, was a small mangy puppy. The dog wasn’t moving and the couple knew they had no time to waste! They needed tools to free her and asked around for help.
Thankfully, locals were quick to assist. They cut away the vines to reveal the puppy just lying there. She was paralyzed. They speculated that the puppy hid in the bush after being injured. The husband lifted her out while the wife continued to say, “Oh my gosh.” The dog was wounded and she was bleeding.
As the couple was about to load the puppy into a kennel, they saw she had a sibling. They rescued her sister as well. The sister, Millie, was healthy enough to go back with her rescuers, while Coco needed to remain at the vet clinic. The couple visited Coco frequently. A week later, she was able to take a few steps. But back at home, Millie was despondent and afraid. She didn’t feel comfortable without her sister around.
What these dogs went through must have been terrifying and painful. That's why we're demanding true and complete justice for these pups and their family.
Coco was finally released from the clinic and the puppies were reunited. When Millie saw her sibling, she wagged her tail in delight. Once reunited, Coco’s health improved drastically, and soon, they began to trust their rescuers.
