In Bosnia, a blind senior dog fell into a well in the middle of a field while looking for food. The poor dog was stuck in the 26-feet deep well for a month, and he only survived because children would throw him food down.
Harmony Fund, a rescue group based in Holden, Massachusetts, heard about the dog, they rushed to the location to save him. Rescuers went down the well to retrieve the dog, and everything was caught on video!

Since the rescue happened so close to the holidays, the rescuers named the dog Christmas. Christmas is a sweet and friendly dog, and thanks to his rescuers, he’s now safe and cared for at his new foster home. We sure hope he will find a loving, forever home very soon!
