In Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, a K9 officer died after being fatally stabbed.
The incident happened at around 3:30 in the afternoon when a 37-year-old man named Bruce Kelley Jr. and his father, 60-year-old Bruce Kelley Sr got into a fight. The two were drinking at a gazebo before the incident happened.
Police arrived at the scene, and there was a scuffle between the police officers and the two men. During the scuffle, Kelley Jr. was able to escape and police quickly called for backup.
When they found Kelley Jr., they tried to taser him but it didn’t work because of his thick jacket. The police then released K9 officer Aren, who then was stabbed by Kelley Jr.
RIP Aren..

Aren wasn’t wearing a protective vest at that time. He was quickly brought to the Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty Emergency Center in Ohio Township. It was at the vet clinic that Aren died from his fatal stab wounds.
