The World’s Ugliest Dog Contest is an annual contest held in California. Every year dozens of dogs and their owners vie for the title in hopes of taking home a trophy and a check worth $1500. And the winner this year is a dog named Quasi Modo!
Quasi Modo is a 10-year-old mixed-breed dog from Loxahatchee Florida. He is a Pit Bull-Dutch Shepherd mix and he was abandoned at an animal shelter because of his strange looks. Quasi Modo has multiple defects on his spine and his back is too short for his body. Luckily, one of the vets at the shelter saw how special he is and took him home.
