Meet Albert, the infamous 12 month old pup that’s racked up over $40,000 in household damages. It all started with a can of black spray paint that was lying around my house, I turn my head for one second – then next thing I know, my house looks like a Broadway production of “101 Dalmatians”… black spots EVERYWHERE! Oh ya, and how could I forget that one time he decided to fetch me a fresh bag of soil, and kindly brought it all the way through the living room and up the stairs to my bedroom. Needless to say, there’s still dirt buried deep in my carpet.  Then there’s the kitchen… clearly cupboards don’t seem to stop Albert from destroying boxes of granola, pounds of pasta and packages of the spices. But the real kicker was the day he decided to shred my couch into a million pieces… words can not describe the trauma.

So that’s when I decided to get him a therapist. I wasn’t surprised to find out that Albert was one of his more difficult clients, but things seem to be turning around. Who knows.. maybe all this chaos is a cry for attention? Perhaps he’s lonely and just needs a friend? A little brother could be the friend he needs…  Guess you’ll have to stay tuned for an update!
