Laura was on a road trip to see her sister Carla. While driving, she saw a head pop up in the tall grass. It was a dog! And he was all alone! She stopped the car and began to make her way over to him. Laura assumed he would get scared and run away, but he did the opposite; he remained still, lied down, and welcomed the human as if he had been waiting for her the entire time.
Laura loaded the pup into the car and made her way to Carla’s house. The pup was matted and filthy! The vet couldn’t see him until the following day, and they couldn’t leave him like that. It took the groomer four and a half hours to remove the mats and filth that were caked on so badly he could hardly move! Soon, the dog, they named Murphy, was feeling so much better.
Carla fell in love with Murphy. Actually, both sisters did! Carla was happy to keep the pup with her, but Laura quickly chimed in, “I’m keeping him!” She didn’t mind driving all the way back with Murphy on her own. She knew the dog came into her life for a reason- and she was spot on!
Murphy is a special dog! He does the most amazing thing once he’s at home with Laura. It’s so incredible and touching! Murphy came into Laura’s life to help her heal. Just wait until you see his spiritual connection to Laura and her past. It’s mind-blowing!
