Mandy and her husband were doing some work on a house when they saw a dog through the fence. The homeowners said that the dog had been chained outside for at least 5 years. Mandy and her husband went straight over. They noticed that the poor dog had no food or water. He just stood there, in the dirt, on a chain– the only life he knew.
They were both in awe. The lead that was attached to the chain had been there for so long that they couldn’t get it off. The dog just stood there too afraid to make eye contact. Mandy and her husband were determined to save the poor pup. They cut the lead off and walked him to their vehicle. Mandy’s husband named him Hooch.
As soon as Hooch realized he was free, he began to perk up. When they pulled up to their house and told the pup he was home, he actually got excited! His eyes glistened, and Mandy and her husband could tell that this pup was ready to start a new life!
Soon, sadly, the couple found out that Hooch needed medical attention, which would be very costly, but they refused to give up on Hooch as his previous owner did. The story just gets better and can’t be missed! Thank you for rescuing this precious pup!
