An American family living in Turkey has been volunteering at a local shelter that houses nearly 4,000 dogs. Mary and her three daughters: Abby, Anna, and Alaina, are all huge animal lovers. And there at the shelter they were volunteering in, they came upon a puppy that they now named Faith.
When the family first saw Faith, sadly, she was dying. She was very frail and had distemper, clinging onto life. Mary and her family wanted Faith to die in peace with dignity, so they took her home so they could show her love even if she just had a few days or hours left to live.
But Faith surprised the family. She survived! The family’s love somehow made Faith stronger.
