Imagine walking down the beach for a spot of fishing and your dog ends up rescuing something so precious!
Well, it happened to this man when he and his dog Leia were walking along the shore near Criccieth. Leia started barking further down from him and when he got to her, he saw that she had found a beached baby dolphin.
He quickly helped the baby porpoise get back to deeper water for her to be able to swim back to sea, and stayed to make sure that she didn’t come back to shore before heading off to call the Coast Guard.
Without Leia’s incessant barking, he wouldn’t have noticed the poor thing, and there was no one else there since it is a secluded spot. Well done Leia, you’re our heroine of the day!!! ^_^
