By now you’ve probably heard of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, that’s taken the internet by storm! In case you haven’t, it’s a campaign to raise awareness and funds for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. 30,000 Americans have this illness, which attacks the nerve cells and ultimately leads to paralysis even though the brain remains sharp. It’s a horrendous illness and thanks to everyone on social media, the ALS Association has raised $13.3 million dollars in the past two and a half weeks!!

Ammo the Dachshund was nominated to take the challenge and being the great sport that he is, he accepted! And while he didn’t use ice water, we’re still quite proud of his participation! Be sure you help out by donating and/or joining in on the challenge to raise awareness! (We recommend doing BOTH!) Way to go, Ammo!
