This Dog Matters…

Norman was found on the streets of the 5th Ward of Houston, hairless and emaciated, scrounging for food. It was clear he had either never lived in a home, or had been severely neglected.

An organization called Adorable Mutts Rescue took him in and cared for him for nearly 2 months. This wouldn’t have been possible without quality food from RescueBank andyour supporting purchases from the iHeartDogs.com store.

The money the rescue saved by not having to buy food was put toward vetting and other medical needs. His coat returned after several weeks and he began looking like a healthy dog again. Because Norman was very wary of humans, Adorable Mutts put him into a class for socialization and basic command training.

We’re ecstatic to report that Norman has now been adopted into a loving home in Canada! Can you believe the transformation?!

His new mom couldn’t touch him for 3 days, but she has earned his trust. He is still very wary of humans, but now he is able to bond. He is so sweet and living in a forever home thanks to support from iHeartDogs.com customers.

It’s stories like Norman’s that inspire us to come to work every day. It’s stories like his that inspired us to create our products that fund meals for shelter dogs like Norman. We believe Norman matters. We believe All dogs matter!

P.S – Here’s one more adorable look at him. Go ahead, we know you want to touch your screen and rub that belly! 🙂
