An 8-month-old Yorkie named Coco was let outside, and her owners sat down in the living room before hearing the daughter scream and open the door to let the dog back inside. Coco had a laceration along her belly among other scrapes and scratches, and the doorbell camera revealed exactly what had happened…

The Yorkie was swooped up right from the back porch by a bald eagle! The sound of the pup yelping is chilling, but the little girl ends up escaping the eagle’s claws to run away. After three days of veterinary care, Coco was as good as new. So lucky! But it’s something they now need to be aware of in the future when letting the little dog go outside.
