Thanks to Greatergood.org, Wings of Rescue had the privilege of flying four large cargo flights carrying pets displaced by Hurricane Harvey to safety. They were taken to high-demand shelters, where they were quickly adopted.
One of those animals was Enzo.
Joe L. from Washington adopted a pup named Archie from the Noah Shelter in Stanwood, Washington and renamed him Enzo. This is the report that Wings of Rescue got back from him:
We adopted Archie and also met his sister Veronica (who came with him). His name is Enzo now. He lives with us in the heart of Vancouver. He was just a bit apprehensive when he landed in the city, but his strong curiosity helped him adapt remarkably well.
Now he is very much at home with all the hustle and bustle. He loves to meet dogs, whether on the sidewalk or at the dog park. He is a very calm boy, but he still has a lot of personality and he loves to play hard with any dog he meets. He loves to chase the ball. He has bonded completely with our 11-year-old son.
We are very much in love with him, and he is very happy in his new life.
Thank you for saving this beautiful boy.
Paw up,
Joe
