Hope For Paws, a rescue group in Los Angeles, California, received a call about a stray pit bull that had been injured by kids in the neighborhood throwing rocks at him.
Understandably, the pitty was not sure about coming up to the rescuers right away. The woman who called them told Hope For Paws that he may be frightened of men especially.
But a delicious hamburger helps him overcome some of his reservations.
And, after an hour of patience….
The kid’s cruelty had left him with bloodied and with an injured shoulder.
He was named Buddha. So much for not liking men, he is leaning on the male rescuer while he drives – grateful to be leaving, perhaps?
Clearly cat friendly too!
