Looking for just the right name for your new fuzzy friend? You’ll want something that feels right – something that fits your pup’s personality to a “T”.

The possibilities are endless, but we have some information on some of the most popular names from the last few years. Some are classics, some are inspired by pop culture, and some are just plain cute! No matter your new puppy’s manner, you’re likely to find matching moniker for him!

1. Benjamin

Benjamin was the #1 name for dogs in the UK in 2016! Benjamin will also shorten to Ben – or Benji if you’re feeling nostalgic.

2. Max

Short and sweet, Max was the name of Prince Eric’s lively English Sheepdog in Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

3. Poppy

Poppy is a particularly sweet name for your ginger pup, reminiscent of the bright flowers, or in honour of a loved one who served for the armed forces.

4. Alfie

Alfie is short for Alfred, which means “wise counselor”, or “Stormageddon, dark lord of all” if you speak baby.

5. Charlie

Sadie is a familiar form of Sarah, which means “Princess”.  This is a really great choice for a truly pampered pup!
