#5 – English Foxhound
English Foxhounds are scent hounds that were originally bred to hunt foxes. While not all families are interested in hunting, English Foxhounds still make excellent family companions. They are bred to hunt in packs, and therefore love the company of people and other dogs. This breed is suitable for an active person or family, as they do require a moderate amount of exercise.
